Experience the glory of India as you embark on the Golden Triangle Tour with Varanasi. Our 8-night/9-day tour combines the beauty of Northern India’s architectural enhancements with the spiritual side of Varanasi. We visit historic cities such as Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur (the Golden Triangle) and then continue our journey to Varanasi, one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world and India’s spiritual centre.On this journey through history, you will visit some of the most incredible structures built by the Mughals and Rajputs, along with many sacred sites, and Ganga’s famous Ghats. From witnessing the breathtaking Taj Mahal to taking in the elegance of Jaipur, and finally participating in the beautiful Ganga Aarti ceremony when we reach Varanasi, this tour is the perfect mix of history, heritage, and spiritual enlightenment.
Day 1 - Delhi Arrival, Welcome to India.
When you arrive at the Airport, Delhi, you will be welcomed by our Representative and taken to your hotel to relax. If time allows, you may choose to stroll around Connaught Place and dine locally/on your own. You will spend the night in Delhi.
Day 2 - Sightseeing in Delhi
Your Golden Triangle tour begins today with a full day tour to see both Historical and Modern attractions in Delhi: Red Fort (from the Outside Only)+Jama Masjid & Rickshaw Ride through Chandni Chowk Raj Ghat+India Gate+Drive Past Rashtrapati Bhavan
Visit Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple and Humayun’s Tomb You will spend the night in Delhi.
Day 3 - Travel From Delhi To Jaipur (Approx 5-Hour Drive)
After breakfast, depart for Jaipur (the Pink City). Once you arrive in Jaipur you will check into your hotel. Now you have free time to do what you would like with your evening or to visit a local market. As an option, you may also choose to have dinner at a Traditional Rajasthani Resort (Chokhi Dhani). You will spend the night in Jaipur.
Day 4 - Sightseeing in Jaipur
Explore the Rich Heritage of Jaipur. On this tour, you will ascend the Amber Fort either by Jeep or Elephant. Photo Stop at Jal Mahal, Visit Hawa Mahal+City Palace+Jantar Mantar Shop For Jewelry/Textiles/Handicrafts You will spend the night in Jaipur.
Day 5- Jaipur to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri
You will proceed to Agra after breakfast, on your way you will visit Fatehpur Sikri (the abandoned capital of the Mughals). Once you arrive in Agra, you will check into your hotel for the evening you can go to Mehtab Bagh to get a beautiful view of the Taj Mahal at sunset Overnight in Agra.
Day 6- Agra Sightseeing – Train to Varanasi.
During the early morning, you will see the Taj Mahal at sunrise it is a very magical time of day at the Taj Mahal. Return to your hotel for breakfast and then you will see: Agra Fort- a grand fort built from red sand stone Itmad-ud-Daulah- is often called the Baby Taj. In the evening you will take an overnight train to Varanasi or you will have the option of taking a flight. Overnight Train/Flight to Varanasi.
Day 7-Attend Evening Aarti in Varanasi.
You will arrive in Varanasi and check into your hotel; later that evening, you will experience the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, a ceremony on the ghat with lamps, sounds, and water celebrating devotion. You will spend the night in Varanasi.
Day 8- Sightseeing in Varanasi.
Start the day with a sunrise boat ride on the holy River Ganges, floating through the spiritual rituals and cremation ghats. After breakfast, explore: Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, and Durga Temple; Discover many things at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and Bharat Kala Bhavan Museum; Visit Sarnath, where he gave his first sermon.
